Some of the salient features of obtaining the 67 points required are :

• At least one year of full time work experience in a skilled occupation
• Post-secondary education
• Between the ages of 21 and 49
• Fluency in the English and/or French language
• Blood ties in Canada
• Sufficient funds to support yourselves in the initial stages in Canada
• Good health
• No criminal record
